Vocal Scores
Magnificat, Vivaldi - £1.50 - vocal booklet produced by school from an IMSLP vocal score.
Mass in D Major, Dvořák - £1.50 - vocal booklet produced by school from an IMSLP vocal score.
Serenade to Music, Vaughan Williams - We are sourcing as many OUP vocal scores as we can through Music Unlimited (Devon Libraries) - hopefully around 200. The hire cost per copy is £2, and these will be allocated on a first come, first served basis to singers signing up and requesting a hire copy. Please note that on being allocated a numbered library vocal score, that singer is responsible for ensuring their allocated score is returned at the end of the performance. Singers will be charged for the replacement copy (£11) if their allocated copy is not returned.
If ordering vocal scores through school, please pre-order and pay for the scores you require by means of the on-line registration by 8th December to ensure your scores are available for the first rehearsal.
Please note that is hoped Chamber Choir pupil singers will be singing in this concert, and that they do also need to register to sing and order scores.
All singers must please register by completing the form below. Please can a separate form be submitted for each member of your family, if more than one family-member is singing.
Visitor parking is not possible on the main school site any longer, but there will be some spaces available by the pavilion, at the "bottom" of the school site, a 5 minute walk from the main school campus. Access is via the gate on Victoria Park Road, using pin code 709532. This code should also work for pedestrian gates at rehearsal times.
I do hope you will be able to join us for this Choral Society season,
Peter Tamblyn, Director of Music
